OTT Watch List works without an account. Favorites, recently viewed titles, recent searches, reminder identifiers, quiz results, achievement progress, AI consent, and app settings are stored locally on your device.

Audio files selected through the iOS Files picker are copied into the app sandbox. Track metadata, embedded artwork, music favorites, and recently played status remain on your device. We do not upload your audio files.

You can remove local records through the app's controls or remove all app-local data by deleting the app.

Movie and TV catalog, search, image, cast, video, similar-title, and recommendation requests are sent to The Movie Database (TMDB). These requests may reveal ordinary network information, such as your IP address, to TMDB and its image hosts. OTT Watch List does not send your imported music to TMDB.

AI Chat is disabled until you explicitly agree in the app. Before consent, OTT Watch List does not call/api/chat/create or/api/chat/request.

After consent, the app sends message text,chat_id, and the fixed movie/TVsystem_prompt to OpenRouter Chat proxy, a third-party AI chat service hosted on Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app. This information is used only to generate movie/TV chat responses and recommendations.

OpenRouter Chat proxy acts as our service provider and data processor for this feature and is expected to protect submitted data under the same or equivalent confidentiality and security commitments described in this policy. The service may retain conversation context on its servers under chat_idfor conversation continuity.

To provide restart continuity, OTT Watch List storeschat_idonly together with the matching visible transcript. Reset Chat clears both while keeping consent. Turning off "AI chat data sharing" in Settings revokes consent, clears both the local session identifier and visible transcript, and blocks further AI requests until you agree again.

Do not enter personal, financial, health, or other sensitive information in AI Chat.

The app includes Branch and Meta/Facebook attribution infrastructure. Where required, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before attribution data is collected. Depending on your permission and device settings, these service providers may receive device identifiers, app-open or link attribution events, IP address, and related device/network information to attribute an install or app open and measure the associated event. You can deny tracking permission in the iOS prompt or later change it in iOS Settings.

Notification permission is requested only when you choose to create a reminder. Release and custom reminders are scheduled locally with Apple's notification system. OTT Watch List does not use a push-notification server.

The feedback page prepares an email to ottwatchlist@gmail.com. Nothing is submitted by the website unless you choose to send that email using your email application. If you contact us, we use the information you provide only to respond and provide support.

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers described above, when needed to deliver the feature you request, or when required by law. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.

App-local information remains until you remove it or delete the app. Third-party providers may retain network, attribution, TMDB, or AI processing records under their legal and operational retention requirements.

OTT Watch List is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has sent information to us.

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
